Larry and Willa Mullins were married in Galbreath Memorial Chapel on the Ohio University Campus in Athens, Ohio, August 23, 1969. They recently celebrated their anniversary at the Greenbriar Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV. Willa received her bachelor degree from Ohio University and Masters degree from Ashland University. She taught in Columbus City Schools for 35 years. She volunteers for International Friendships, Inc. Larry received his undergraduate degree from Kent State University, a J.D. degree from Capital University Law School and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. Larry's professional career has reflected his passion for both law and public education in Ohio, including classroom teacher, Director of Human Resources, Assistant Supt. and Adjunct Professor of School Law. Willa and Larry have a son, David and his wife, Melanie, who reside in Hilliard, Ohio. Willa and Larry are members of U.A. Lutheran Church. Early on they enjoyed trips in their Volkswagen pop top camper to Nova Scotia and many Bluegrass music festivals. They also had family trips to Disneyland, San Antonio and Gatlinburg in the Smoky Mountains. They traveled on two European river cruises and a small ship cruise of the Five Great Lakes. Sanibel Island, Fl., and Lakeside, OH, are favorite destinations.
